Today's Readings:
Ez 37:1-14
Psalm 107:2-9
Mt 22:34-40
In today's Gospel we hear Jesus saying the greatest commandment is this: "to love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul & with all your mind. The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." With all our heart means that God must be first in our lives and all we do must be for his glory. With all our soul tells us that we must nourish not only our bodies, but our spiritual lives as well with prayer and meditation. With all our mind reminds us that all our gifts we have, have been given to us by God and that we are to use them in his service; we must be conscience of Christ in our lives at all times. In doing this, as well as loving our neighbor, we fulfill all God is calling us to. Let us this day then, love the Lord our God fully, as well as all those we meet; putting to use all the gift and talents that have bee given to us to help build up the Body of Christ. May God Bless you all and have a great day.
