Feast of St. Monica

Today's Readings:
2 Thes 3:6-10, 16-18
Ps 128: 1-5
Mt 23:27-32

Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Monica, mother of St. Augustine and patroness of wives, families, and of those in need of conversion. She shed many tears praying to God for her son (Augustine) before he had his conversion; she is a testament to the fact that God truly does hear and answer our prayers. She had a beautiful faith that allowed her to never cease praying for her son and for all of those in need. This day let us imitate that faith and truly place our trust in God who always hears us when we call out to him, and that we may never cease praying in all that we do. May God Bless you all and have a great day.
